Disgusting

Is there something in this world that skeeves you out to the extent that roaches skeeve me out?

In our last apartment, we had issues with this. The next door neighbors moved out and neglected to take their pets with them. Within a day we had roaches of all shapes and sizes frolicking in my kitchen.

There are few things on this earth quite as disgusting as seeing a cockroach tap dancing in your frying pan right before you get ready to cook dinner.

Unless, of course, you live in one of those countries that consider large roaches a delicacy.

I don't.

They need to die (the roaches- not the other countries).

Now in my hometown, they are coming out in droves. I'm not sure what prompted this orgy of roaches but I want it to stop.

That is all.

Meh. I'm bored

So I had a blog on my Myspace page. It was entertaining for a while but I got tired of the constant downtime and other bullshit that seems to follow Myspace.

Then again, what are you expecting from a free product?

My husband constantly bitches about it too. To me, that is like bitching about rain getting your car wet. It happens. You deal with it. You move on. Not quite the crisis situation you are making it out to be.

But whatever.

I suppose as this is my first blog here, I ought to introduce myself. Otherwise, how else will my gentle readers have any clue who they are reading?

That assumes that anyone actually reads this drivel.

I'm nobody famous. I haven't done great things in my life. I have no dirty secrets. I don't have some rare and exotic disease. I haven't written any great (or even not so great) books.

I do have good hair though. That is something.

I am Kel. That is short for Kellie (such a terribly clever nickname, I know). I'm 28 years old and live in California with my husband of five years. You will meet him later. I call him T-boy.

I have a cat. Her name is Sasha. I call her Shithead or Peanut depending on if she has scratched me recently or not.

I teach children with Autism. That is my passion and my drive. I love my work and I love my kids. Every step is so much more miraculous when the steps are harder to take.

Lets see. What have I not touched on?

I don't know. It will come out sooner or later.

Cheers.
Kel
